How do I schedule an appointment?

Go to Services and click on the appointment type you would like to schedule. You will be taken to a calendar to pick your date and time. Of note, if you want to book an appointment for a comprehensive lab panel review, we will need to order the labs first. The best option would then be to schedule a Discovery Call so we can determine the best panel to get started with. Lab results can take anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks depending on the tests ordered. Once results are back, you will be notified and instructed to schedule your appointment for review. If you would like to forego the Discovery Call and just get started, please contact us via email to let us know that you are ready to your chart started and get labs ordered.

What if I don’t know what appointment type I should schedule?

If you are unsure how you would like to start, please schedule a Discovery Call so that we can review your health needs and assess best first steps, but if you would like immediate medical advice, the best first appointment would be a basic Consultation or a Consultation with Comprehensive Lab Review (we will order labs if needed to get done prior to appointment).

What if I don’t know what lab panel I need?

We can start with Dr. Kesslering’s custom panel which you can order directly from the Shop page but this panel can take a number of weeks to get results. Many clients need to be seen more quickly and we will run labs using a different custom panel. Most clients opt to review their case on a Discovery Call so that the urgency and necessity for certain labs can be assessed and ordered. After the initial lab review, we may determine that you would benefit from more in-depth testing which would be discussed at that visit.

When will I be able to schedule an appointment if I choose to start with a comprehensive lab panel?

Results can take 1-4 weeks depending on the labs ordered. Once the results are available, we will let you know that you can go ahead and schedule an appointment to review all of this information. This will allow time for Dr. Kesslering to personally review, analyze, and create a detailed report with optimal reference ranges as well as customized recommendations.

Are the appointments covered by insurance?

We do not take insurance. Appointment fees will be based on appointment type scheduled. See Services page. These fees do not cover lab testing.

Are the labs covered by insurance?

Many of the labs and tests ordered will not be covered by insurance but some are. You are always able to take the results to your insurance company to see if they will cover any of the cost.

Can I use my Health Savings Account credit card for payment?

Yes, for both the Kess Rx fees as well as lab/test costs.

Do you have online visits?

Yes, all visits are online.
